Grammyism: "I worked on tobacco fields for two summers when I was fourteen."
Although it may be strange, and not often thought about, hands say a lot about a person. The jewelry that one chooses to ornate their hands with. The color of nail polish one wear, or whether they wear none at all. If there is dirt under one's nails or calluses on their fingertips, a hard worker may become the final assumption.
With age, the skin on hands becomes, thin, fragile, and wrinkled. The protruding structure of one's veins becomes visible through the skin.
To tell how old a person may be, I often look fist at their hands. For me, the appearance of one's hands is the first indicator of age, experience, struggle. Simply put, the structure of hands represents the structure of one's life.
